Question

1. We are going to the city in October as a transit point to go to JiuHuaShan in AnHui Province; thereafter to the cities of Wuxi and YiXing in Jiangsu2. Wish to confirm that the Public Transport Card can also be used at nearby cities outside of the city?3. After buying the card and upon activating at the Pudong airport, how long will the card valid?  4. Can we top top-up at the same time after activating the card?5, We will return to SH City for outbound flight home.

Hi, the card can also be used in the nearby cities. You can suggested to get a purple card. It can be used in both Wuxi and Yixing Cities as well as other nearby cities. After purchasing the card, it is valid immediately, so you can directly use it. And it is certainly fine to reload the card when purchasing it.

The purple transportation card can be used in Wuxi and Yixing. But you cannot use it on buses in Chizhou and Qingyang. :-)
