Visiting Sanqingshan in first week of August 2015

1. Is early August a good time to hike the mountain? What is the temperature like and weather like?
2. Is Yushan South Railway Station or Shanghai Railway Station nearer to the mountain?
3. I intend to hike from the foot of the mountain and plan to cover all the peaks, how many days would I need? I am slightly above average in terms of fitness.
4. From the scenic area, I intend to visit Loghushan and Wuyuan before returning to Hangzhou. May I know which is should I visit first so that it makes my return to Hangzhou easier?
5. How far Wuyuan from Huangshan by car and by bus? Any train from Wuyuan to Huangshan?

Many thanks.

1. Yes, it's a good time to tour around the mountain.
According to the previous statistics, the temperature is 77F to 95 F. And it mainly contains sunny days.

2. Yushan South Railway Station is much nearer to the mountain.

3. Generally speaking, 2 to 3 days are enough for you to visit almost all scenic spots.

4. You must refer to Longhu Mountain, right?
You can go to the mountain first and then Wuyaun Scenic Area. Wuyuan County Bus Station has direct long-distance buses that can take you to Hangzhou West Bus Station.

5. The distance between Wuyuan and Huangshan is about 80 miles. It takes 1.5 to 2 hours on the way.
The bus schedules from Wuyuan County Bus Station are 08:20, 13:20, 15:40 and 16:35.
Or you can hire a private car to get there.
But no direct train runs to Huangshan from Wuyuan.
