About:China Tourist Visa

Validity (enter before)

We have requested for a visa for my family. We are travelling on 10th of october. We have provided the air tickets and the consulate told us everyting is fine. I just received them today, and we should enter before 6th october. I guess this is a mistake. Does it mean we have to go back twice to the consulate? Do we need to pay again to get a new visa?

You can see whether the consular officer is willing to modify it for you. If not, you have to apply for another one and pay again. In this case, your current entry permit will expire after you get the new one. Or you can change your plan and enter China before October 6th.
