About:China Transit Visa

Vietnam passport in 9 hour layover in beijing

I have a 9 hour layover in beijing and I carry a Vietnam passport with a visa to USA. Can I leave the airport to sightsee with 24 hour free transit? I want to see great wall.

Yes, you can. Apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport so that you can leave and explore the city.
