Converting Money with card?

Hi,
If i convert money in china at a bank, do they accept Visa & Mastercard? Even if my card is in another currency? Also, Do you know if they charge an extra fee for using card to pay and not cash?

Thank you

Mina, Visa and Mastercard are accepted in China. I don't know if it is a debit card or credit card. No matter what it is, you need to pay extra fee when you withdraw money. However, if it is a credit card, then you may not be required to pay the extra fee. It just depends on your bank. I have a credit card which allows me to pay abroad without extra handling fee.

If it is a debit card, then it usually charges handling fee even you pay with your card.
