From Tianjin Binhai Airport to Nanjing by train

Which train station should I go to, to take a train to go to Nanjing, and how do I go to the train station from Binhai Airport?

Which station in Nanjing should I go to which is nearest to the Marriage Bureau? Is there a metro station which I can take a subway from the railway station to the Marriage Bureau in Nanjing?

Upon landing, you can take subway line 2, get off at Tianjin Railway Station first.
Then take high-speed train from there to Nanjing South Railway Station. It takes around 4 hours on the way.

After arriving, the nearest Marriage Bureau is located in Qinhuai District. The address is No.65, South Dongguashi, Mingshi Road. You can take subway line 3 to Kazimen Station, Exit 3. Then walk east around 480 yards to find the destination.
Or you can tell which marriage bureau you are going to, then I can tel the transportation.

Thanks Dwen

1. I see. The subway from the airport is now opened? While waiting for replies here, I went to google some information and understand that there is an airport bus. So, I believe the bus should be slower than the metro?

2. I just checked the train schedules from www.travelchinaguide.com. It seems that the trains from Tianjin Main Station to Nanjing are all slow trains taking 12 to 14 hours. According to that website, the fast trains which take about 4 hours depart from TJ South Railway Station arriving at Nanjing South Railway Station. Please let me know if that website is reliable. I don't want to end up at the wrong railway station. Hahaha.

3. The marriage bureau I will be going to is the one for marriages between foreigners and local Chinese. Please let me know if I am wrong but I managed to google the address out which is Jiangsu Province Foreign Marriage Registration Office, 82 Taiping Road N., Nanjing City
Hotline: 025-84510099 南京市太平北路82号长城大厦204室

Thanks a lot for your kind reply.

1. Yes, the subway line opens nowadays. And taking subway is a better choice instead of taking bus. And yes, the bus is lower than metro.

2. I've check on the official website. The train schedules of this website is the same with the official one. So it's reliable. Don't worry. There are 16 departures from TJ South to Nanjing and 8 departures from TJ Main Train Station to Nanjing. You can check it again.

3. Yes, the address is correct. From Nanjing South Railway Station, take subway line 3 to get to Fuqiao Station, Exit 2. Then walk south along North Taiping Road around 165 yards to find the destination.

Hi Zina

I've checked the website again.

Apparently, the trains departing from Main Station, which I understand is also called East Station, are all the slow ones which take as many as 14 hours to reach Nanjing South.

The fast trains which take about 4 hours depart from South or West Stations. South Station has the most frequent trains.
