About:Nanjing Transportation

Nanjing Railway Station to Hakka Tulou

Hello, i wonder if there is a bus available that goes to the Hakka Tulou for a 1 day trip (so also taking the bus back to NJ)? And if its possible to tour the area by yourself? The internet mostly advices to book a tour. But since im travelling by myself i wonder if there were other options as well. Thanks

Oh, do you refer to Tulou in Nanjing County, Zhangzhou City? If yes, it is fine to have a one day tour by yourself. Outside the railway station, there are direct buses to Hakka Tulou and it takes around 1.5h. English signs are generally clear there. To know more, you can try to get a guide at the scenic area. For the back trip, use the same bus. Do ask the drivers about the return timing and boarding site. To rent a car for a round trip, it takes CNY350-500 by the way.
