How to apply for a chinese visa in nepal

Hello!
I am a UK citizen looking for the best way to apply for a Chinese entry permitin nepal, travelling through tibet first. Any information about length, cost and type gratefully received!

If you plan for a visit, then you should apply for a tourist type. It takes around four working days. The cost is 140 USD for a single entry.
