Oten, you are right with the transportation from Zhangjiajie to SL. Take a train to Kunming first in around 20h. Then go to Kunming West Bus Station to take a long-distance bus to SL. Bus schedules are 08:30, 09:30, 13:00, 18:30, 19:00, 19:30, 20:30. For the way to Chengdu, it is best to fly there directly, or you have to go back to Kunming for a transfer to hop on a train to your destination.
