Working visa without university degree?

Hello, I was offered a job in China because of my expert knowledge and 20 years of experience working for miscelaneous international companies in many countries. There is one serious issue though. I do not have any university degree. Can the previous working experience and recommendations compensate for the missing degree?

Ruda, it depends on the local labor bureau. In fact, many labor bureaus require foreigners to provide their diplomatic degrees and related working experience. Otherwise, the foreign applicants may not be able to acquire the work permits.

Because your employer already hires you, you should ask your employer to help you figure out a solution.
