what happens if I am not home to sign for a parcel when it is delivered.

I may not be home when the parcel is delivered. How many attempt will the delivery person make. Can it be signed for by a neighbour if I leave a note on my door?

Valerie, it depends on your national post office. You know, you parcel is delivered to you by your national post when it reaches in UK. So you should contact them to confirm how they send your parcel and whether you can ask someone else to pick it up.
