About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arrive Shanghai from Toyko-Canadian-US Resident

According to the above info, my last minute trip to Shenzhen, travel is Honolulu to Toyko, to Shanghai, 10 hour layover, then Shenzhen 48 hours. Flight leaving Shenzhen change planes in Hangzhou to Seoul, then Hawaii USA. Shanghai 72 hour Visa, allows another visit city. 4. Passengers are required to leave from the same airport that they arrive, except in Shanghai. In Shanghai, they are allowed to land in one airport and depart from the other. This is on one itinerary, all the flights arrive June 26 depart June 29. Should I anticipate problems for 72 hour Free Transit Service?

Brett, since you will transit in several Chinese cities, I'm afraid you cannot enjoy the 72-hour free transit policy. "Passengers are required to leave from the same airport that they arrive, except in Shanghai" means that passengers can arrive at one airport in Shanghai and exit from another airport there because there are two airports in Shanghai. It doesn't mean that you can travel to other cities.
