i want to know how the resident permit transference works

i am a NIgerian and want to study in hangzhou and my current resident permit is still valid for 9months and i want to know how the resident transference works

Kcee, do you plan to transfer your residence permit to other provinces or cities?

You can go to the exit and entry administration in the city you currently live, ask for a transference permit, then apply for a new residence permit after you move to Hangzhou.
