About:China Consulate in Houston

Request to appear in person. I sent in all the documents for a Visa for China.

My fiance was approved, but I’m told I need to appear in front of the Chinese consulate. Do you know why? Is there someone I can call to discuss this? I don’t live in Houston

Thanks

SL, you needn't be worried too much. The consulate might ask the applicants to come for an interview. If the officer requires you to show up, then you need to visit the consulate.
