Can I book D308 from xi'an to shang hai but board at luo yang long men ?

Hi, I wish to book D308 from xi'an to shanghai. However, I may wish to go to luo yang long men. If I do book the trip from xi'an to shanghai, is it possible to board the train at luo yang long men. I am afraid the tickets will sell out so I want to book the seat first
