may I know where can I get a translated Chinese for my English birth certificate?

Irene, if you just bring it to Chinese embassy for authentication, you needn't have it translated into Chinese. When you plan to use it in China, then you need go to local notary office to have it notarized. There you can ask them to recommend you a qualified translation company.0
