About:Requirements for Permanent Residence Permit

Owning a house in order to get the a permanent residence permit?

I meet all the criteria for the permanent residence permit. I read here and many other places that owning a house can increase the chance of being granted the permit. Should the house be in my name of if it's owned by my spouse would do enough? is there any difference? thank you in advance

Hi Matt! It's true that owning a house can improve the possibility for you to get the permanent residence permit. It's fine no matter the house belongs to you or to your spouse. However, if it belongs to you, the chance is bigger.
