About:Summer Palace

What's the quickest way to get from Tiannamen square to summer palace, if I'm leaving at 1630?

Someone said the main tower is open till 1700 hours, but the rest is on till 1930. Is it worth going all the way with such little time on hand?

Taxi shall be the fastest way and it takes 25-30min. These days it closes at 20:00. Three hours are enough to sightsee in the park. Don't worry!
