Day trip to China from Hong Kong

We are in Hong Kong for two full days and would love to go to China by train for a day trip. What are our options?

Hi, if you have only one day, you may consider to visit Shenzhen or Guangzhou from Hongkong. By the way, Hongkong is a part of China :)
