Simatai from Beijing

Hi there, does anybody can tell me which one is more easier way to get to the wall from Dongzhimen, taking bus 980 to Miyun or taking bus to Chengde and tell to driver to stop near Simatai? buses from Dongzhimen leave from inside or outside of the station?
