when 72h ends

Hi!I have a question. If I arrive to Shanghai on 25th of June at 5-35AM, my 72H starts at 00-01AM on 26th of June, right?But if I have a flight from Shanghai on 01:40AM on 29th of June and If I pass the passport control before midnight (before 28th of June ends) will I be OK? ) I mean the 72H ends when I get the stamp or is it counted from the departure time of my flight?ThanksAlex
