About:Shanghai Maglev Train

Five hour stop in Shanghai. Time to visit the city?

Hi. I'll be visiting the city as part of a stop over and have five hours between flights. Will I have time to quickly visit the city for a few hours if I travel on maglev? Thanks

If taking the Maglev+subway, it is possible. You can take the maglev to Longyang Road (8 mins), then take the subway line 2 to East Nanjing Road (15 mins). There you can go a simple shipping at Nanjing Road or have a stroll at the bund, then back in the same route back to the airport.

Your time is too tight. Although by SMT, you need to spare at least an hour for transportation. To catch your flight, around 1.5h is needed. So you only have around 2h to visit. Are you sure you wanna take the risk?
