About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Washington D.C. to Beijing to Hong Kong

I am arriving at 6:15 PM at T3 and will be flying to Hong Kong (Depart from T3) with hand luggage only and 135 minutes.

What would be the process that I would go through be exactly as described in the "I ⇒ I" section of the guide? And will 135 mins be sufficient enough?

According to your situation, you are Internation to Internation from T3 to T3.
The correcting procedures are the following:
Flight Arrival ⇒ Transfer Procedures ⇒ Security Check ⇒ Custom Inspection ⇒ Waiting & Boarding
In usual time, you need at least one hour to transfer the flight. So 135 minutes are enough for you. Don't worry. :-)
