About:Xiamen Travel

travelling to Xiamen for a few days and will travel to Kinmen and back to the city in early Sept.

would like to know any recommendation for good, clean and not too expensive hotel, convenient to travel around ?We will get our China visa but do we need any special visa to Kinmen? What's the weather during that time ? Travelling to Kinmen by ferry takes how long and from which jetty/boat transfer? Thanks !

1. Do you mean the hotel and restaurant in XM?
If yes, you can go to Starlight Gulf Hotel. The price is CNY 300 to 500 per night. The distance to Wutong Port is about 1.2 miles. It provides clean living environment and kind service. And it has own restaurant that has good taste Chinese traditional food and distinctive local snacks.

2. Are you Malaysia Passport Holders?
If yes, you don't need any other visa. You can enjoy 30 Days Visa Free Policy in Taiwan/Jinmen. So don't worry.

3. About the weather condition, the temperature will be 77 F to 95 F during that period of time. It mainly contains many cloudy days. T-shirts, light jackets and jeans are enough to prepare.

4.Ferries at Wutong Port has about 36 schedules every day with the frequency of around half an hour. The duration is about 30 mins. Then you can arrive at Kinmen directly.
