About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

travelling from usa to nepal, transit via guangzhou China. do i need transit visa?

I`m Nepalese passport holder but residence of usa ( green card). I`m travelling to Nepal but I have 36 hours transit in Guangzhou Baiyun intl. airport. airlines will provide me hotel.

Reshma, you can check whether you can make use of the 24-hour direct transit policy. The "24 hours" count from the midnight following your arrival. If you are eligible for this policy, then you don't need the transit permit. If not, you should apply for a G type one before leaving the US.
