About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I was married to a chinese girl in China- I want to divorce. How do I get proof of marriage cert?

I understand courts in england need a copy of my marriage certificate. so how do I provide this so I can get a divorce in england?

David, you should first have your marriage certificate notarized by a notary public in China. Then take the notarization documents and your marriage certificate to the British embassy and have these documents attested. After the process is done, the marriage certificate can be used in England to help you to get a divorce.
