About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying from Singapore to Xiamen on a 1 way ticket and then to Hongkong on a 1 way ticket within 72h

Hi, is it possible to fly from Singapore to Xiamen, stay there for 2 days and then fly out to Hongkong? Both flights would be 1 way tickets and with different airlines. Will I be eligible for the 72 hours free transit visa?
