Are you sure the JW-202 form isn't necessary for X2 type application ?

The travel agency that is taking care of my application asks me for one even tho i'm applying for a X2 type. The problem is the university i'm staying in didn't send me one and I only have 22 days to get my visa and fly to beijing.

Andrea, according to the information posted on the website of the embassy, the JW-202 form is not requred for applying X2 type. You can confirm this with the consular office. If they insist that you need to submit this form, then you have to get one through your school.
