About:Power Plugs / Sockets in China

What voltage do I use 220 or 110 volt in USA?

Hi I got a electric branding iron from China with china plug one straight two at angle. Plug has 250 volts 300 watts printed on it.

Donald, please check the Plug carefully and see if there is only 250V or 100-250V. If it just has 250V, then you need to buy a transformer. If it has 100-250V, then transformer isn't required. You just need to buy an adaptor.

Look for a label on the branding iron for voltage. The 250v marking on the plug is what the plug is rated to handle not the actual voltage of the device,
