voltage in Shanghai

Do I need an adaptor for my electronics while in the city? China uses 220v and 50 hz, UK is 240 v and 50 hz. If I do, what shape do the sockets need to be? Two round as in US, two flat as in Bahamas, etc.

Thanks - Christine in Wales

Yes, you can buy a mini adaptor for your electronic items. Chinese sockets most are two flat and three flat. While, don’t worry, an adaptor usually solve all the problems.
