Do I need internal flight details for visa?

I'm visiting my son in September in China so need L type. I have booked return flights Paris to Shanghai and intend to travel to Beijing, Xian and Guilin while there. All hotels booked but not internal flights or trains. Do I need to show internal travel documents or is it just the return flights to Shanghai?
