visit visa to hong kong (abdul jalal), how can i apply from sri lanka?

I am sri Lankan holding Sri Lankan passport, resident in Saudi Arabia for the past 19 years, i am coming to to Sri lanka 8th June for a short vacation, during this time 11th June I would like to visit HK for 5 days. I do have my return ticket back to Saudi, including Colombo-Hong Kong-Colombo, please advice

Abdul, you should apply from the Chinese embassy in your country at least 1.5 months in advance. If the embassy issues it, then it just takes four working days. If your application was sent to HK, then you should have waited for 4 to six weeks. You should submit these documents to the embassy:1. copies of your passport information page2. a recent passport photo3. filled ID1003A form4. round-trip air tickets and hotel booking5. financial standings, recent six months bank statement, pay slips or employment certificate
