what difference in the living costs in jinan when compared to india?

I want to stay  there for my educational purpose for a period of 6 months. I have scholarships but I am afraid of the living costs there.

Well, the living costs of this city is much lower than Beijing and Shanghai. As a student, CNY 1500 to 2000 per month is enough. So don't worry so much about this problem. :-)
