About:Embassy & Consulates of Thailand in China

yes i have valid temporary resident permit and after visit i will go back to my country but no visa

i am tayyaba ,from Pakistan i have visited thai embassy located in shanghai. but they said this is resident permit from a local police not from immigration. this permit is only letter not printed on your passport.

when i again visited local police station for this matter, they said this permit have same effect as printed on passport. because for s2 type, we can not print on the passport. but for the sake of my best support, they give me another temporary resident permit letter attested by immigration office.

can i get visitor type now?

Tayyaba, if the police station can give you another temporary residence permit attested by the immigration office, it's possible that you can get the Thai entry permit. However, it's not assured as you are only holding the S2 type, which is not valid for a long term in China.
