About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Would I qualify for the 72-hour visa free entry both upon my initial arrival and on my return route?

I will arrive at PEK from the US around 2:45p on Jun-2, stay for about 48 hours, and then depart PEK for Seoul (ICN) on Jun-4. My return trip to the US is from ICN back through PEK during which I will arrive in PEK around 5:00p on Jun-5 and depart from PEK bound for the US around 11:20a on Jun-6.

Timo, both routes are fine. You can apply for the 72h free transit twice.
