About:Year of the Pig

I am a Monkey and red is my unlucky color, as mentioned by Chinese astrology.

However, I am asked to wear red during my unlucky year -(Year of the monkey) next year to ward off the evil. Isn't this contradictory to us Monkeys ?

Ulban, I don't think it's contradictory. Red clothes are suggested because red is an auspicious color that can expel evil things and your bad luck. You need this color to get rid of your bad luck. Pleaes don't think too much.
