About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

what visa do l need if Any please?

I fly from Paris cdg toshanghai then on too macau l plan too stay 12 days and 11 nights at the Rio hotel .Then flight back to shanghai hongqiao. A 14.45 hr stop over, l have booked into the hotel that night at hongqaio airport and plan too then travel too Pudong shanghai for my return too too paris cdg the next day .Do l need a 72 hour transit visa? Do l need a chinese L type too stay in macau for 11 nights please? Can you enlighten me please?

Paul, you are eligible for the 72 hour free transit. Before your flight arrives in Shanghai, you should tell the flight attendants that you plan to make use of this policy. You don't need the entry permit for Macao. With your UK pasport, you can stay there for up to 180 days without the need of applying for entry permit.
