do i qualify for a 72 hr transit visa?

I fly from perth Australia to HK then transit to Shanghai. Arrive 11.50am Monday then Leave Shanghai on Thursday 0940am to HK to Perth  Martin Perth

I'm sorry, Martin, you do not qualify for the 72hr free transit because you depart from HK to Shanghai and then back to HK. The route is not considered as valid transit.
