About:

from guilin to Sanqingshan

I am planning to travel from Guilin to Shanghai in July this year.
I would like to visit also the SQS park.
Which is the best solution in your opinion

I already saw that there are trains Guilin-Nanchang and then Nanchang-Yushan South but I would get there in late afternoon.
Do you think it is ok to sleep in Yushan and visit the park spending the whole day after?

Your route is reasonable, but there is a better idea. You can take high-speed train from Guilin to Shangrao first. It takes around 6.5 hours on the way. Then take long-distance bus at Shangrao Bus Station to get to the destination.
As I know, the schedules are 06:30, 07:30, 12:30 and 13:30.

I just checked that three bullet trains operate from Guilin to Shangrao, leaving at 11:44, 12:27 and 13:18. It takes around 6.5h to Shangrao. While if you wanna arrive at Shangrao before 13:30, the bullet trains may not be a choice.

Actually I checked, but I couldn't find any high-speed train taking me in Shangrao from Guilin before 13.30...

Maybe I didn't get it well ... sorry :(
