1 or 2 day trip for Jinshanling?

Hi, it is advisable to stay for a night at the foot of the wall, but you are highly recommended to book an accommodation in advance. As it is during Chinese national holidays, it will be very crowded and the accommodation may be unavailable on the spot. At last, I wanna remind you if possible, change your travel plan to other dates to avoid the crazy crowds.

Thank you very much! I cannot change my travel dates. If I could, I would ;-) I fly out ot Beijing on october 11th, so maybe I can go to the wall on my last days to avoid the worst.... Is there any posiblity to book the accomodastion up there online? I read the staff only speaks Chinese etc.?

Matt, it would be much better if you could re-arrange your plan to visit the wall. I mean you go there on your last days.
