About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Can I go out of PEK airport if I am not a passport holder of above 51 countries?

I am Vietnamese and I fly from Hanoi to Amsterdam and transit at Beijing airport for 10 hours. Can I go out of the airport to see the city and go back to the airport before my flight?

Yes, you can. However, you need to apply for a stay permit when you arrive. It's a stamp on your passport and you can get it for free.
