Can a british passport holder get a chinese visa on short notice in Thailand?

Hi, i will be in bangkok in june this year, then going to beijing. i have a british passport. Is it still possible to get a tourist type in Bangkok as a british passport holder? (single entry, rush service desirable) Thanks!

Anil, according to other travelers, foreigners like you are still able to apply Chinese L types in Bangkok. However, I am not sure if you can use the rush service because applicants are required to get permission from the consular office if they plan to use this service.
