Apply for a Japanese visitor visa

Hi, I am Thai citizen who are now traveling in east asia. I have been traveling around east asia for around 10 months and would like to visit japan again in more period of stay. Last time I visited japan for 15 days due to the exemption for Thai policies. But this time I would like to visit for around two months and need to make an entry permit. I'm staying in beijing and plan to travel in PRC for around 2 months. My question is can I apply the Japan visitor type here?

PP, I am afraid that you may not be able to apply in Beijing. According to Japanese embassy in PRC, they just accept applications from these foreigners who have long-term resident permits in China. I don't think you meet the requirements. However, you still can call the consular office to confirm if there is any new update.
