how long does it take to send package from china to USA?

I bought something and shiped on 5/17/15

If you send it via China Post, it takes 13 to 18 days to arrive if it wasn't delayed or lost on th way. For EMS service, it takes around 7 to 15 days.

I order from China through eBay on a regular basis. Can take from 2 weeks to 2 months to receive. Packages often get hung up in customs, but eventually make there way here. I live in PA.

I ordered something from China in early November 2016 and it was estimated to be here between Dec 2016 and Early Jan 2017. The dates have now passed, what do I do now? It was coming from Shanghai and said it was shipped on November 29th. USPS is still tracking it, but the date listed before was the last update.

I have a package coming to Arkansas that was shipped from China on the 20th of January. The estimation from the post office is anywhere from the end of February to the beginning of April, so I'm thinking it could take anywhere from a month to 2 months.

No, customs and shipping alone, not to mention going through the facility and getting packed and the correct documentation, prevents anybody from ever receiving their package in one week. There's no way you'd even get something from here within the US that soon, unless it's express. But especially since most of the packages coming from China comes through regular USPS, you're package must go through the necessary steps before it gets to you. The regular time is 3-4 weeks. Once in awhile it comes sooner by a few days or so, and once I've had it take around 2 1/2 months to get to me ((i had already forgotten i even ordered it, to be honest lmfao)) but it gets held up due to customs. Everybody has a job to do. And we just have to let them do it. No matter how frustrating it may be at times lol :P Always remember that we have customs for very important reasons, so definitely needed. I'd rather them take the time to extra check, than for something horrible and illegal to come into and across our borders just cuz ppl want their packages faster.

If anyone really needs help that bad, go to google and type in track 17. The first link will say 17 track. Click it. That is the worldwide shipping database. Most accurate of any sites, even USPS.

Also, everything has to clear Customs. They X-ray the container, wait for the freight forwarders to pick it up, then it continues on its way. I used to import and depending on the item, dictates how long it takes to clear customs as well. Use Track 17 or if it was shipped China Post you can track it on their website.if it's made of cotton, has wooden buttons or toggles, feathers , fur, or leather it takes a certificate to leave the country and that's usually the hang up.

In some cases you can use China Post tracking or use USPS tracking, EBay also has a tracking feature, sometimes no tracking comes up, your package should come in as little as 7-14 days and as late as 6-8 weeks, contact the seller if it is longer than 4 weeks.

I ordered a Thriller jacket through EBay, and it's coming from Hong Kong. If you ordered an article of clothing, it should arrive 7-10 business days, or up to two weeks to come in the mail. I hope this helped.

Generally speaking, it takes around 25 days to ship parcels from USA to China. I heard that sometimes you need to pay a parcel tax if the parcel value exceed CNY 1,000. Custom officers will carry out spot check on incoming parcels.

Did you get suckered into ordering from NFL jerseys online too? I thought I was ordering from NFL shop....the web site is almost identical!!! I ordered Nov 28th and it still hasn’t left China. When I e-mail them I get a response within minutes. Always from “Anna” last e-mail said “due to snow storm bad air conditions the package is delayed. Hope you can understand. Take it easy”. Plus I checked my bank statement and they charged me $9.00 more than what I bought the Jersey for!!!!

depend on you use this way:
1. by sea from China to LAX take 13 days
2.By sea freight to NY take 23 days
3. By air freight to USA take 1~5 days, different airport and airline have different transport time.
4. By DHL FedEx ups take 3~7 days, Fedex IP is good services take 1~2 days only.
5. by EMS or China post take more than 10 days.

I've had the same issue. On other forums I've found that if there's not enough room on plane that's carrying the mail that they will try to put it on a later one. My package has been waiting to board for 20 days and just recently they attempted to put it on another plane. Wished they'd get better at updating location and arrival dates while it's over there.

There are some probable reasons for this problem
1. You filled the wrong address and number.
2. Your parcel has been detained by China Customs because of some banned items.
3. The delivery information cannot be updated in time.
4. Your parcel was missing for some reason.

Are all these items shipped via the ocean on a shipping vessel? Are any of the packages shipped via airplane? It is a long distance between China and the United States. I used to live in California and saw the huge shipping containers at the docks. I would imagine it takes a lot of manpower to unload those containers, then for packages to be inspected and sorted. Traveling through the desert from California to Arizona, I have seen many trains with these big shipping containers on them. Unfortunately it seems to be a long process.

I ordered from China, and it originates in Beijing. One package took three days to Michigan, I have another package being sent. I'm on the eighth day now, with tracking saying processed through Beijing. So there is no average time. It's all different. Well, I found the same logistic information with you. There may have several following reasons:
1. At a certain stage during transportation, the carrier has not updated the tracking information due to the high volume of postage.
2. The carrier was omitted to enter the tracking information.
3. Your package may have been lost during the transportation period.

But I am not sure which reason it is. Thus you need to contact the post office or package sender as soon as possible.

I will never order from china again for sure..i ordered on March/2 /2020 and as of today March /20/2020 still Nothing....Never again...If any one orders from China NEVER & NEVER use Regular USPS pay the extra on faster shipping...it said where i ordered from one the web sight anything over $39 free shipping..do not do it ....pay the extra

I ordered a package March 23rd, 2020. I tried using the tracking number: LS283611255CN
No luck. It doesn’t even tell me a location of where my package is, or an estimated delivery date. I’m not sure how long I should expect to wait, but I’d really like some assistance tracking it, so I can at least know whether or not I wasted my money on something I will never receive

It’s most likely sitting in a shipping container either still on a carrier ship or at a US port waiting to be processed which is why you haven’t seen an update since it left China. Once it gets pulled out of the container & processed through in the US you’ll get it pretty quick (mine usually get from east coast to west coast via USPS within 1-2 days) but it takes 20-30 days once they leave China.

Hi I hate to say it but I ordered a couple of things from Bejing and received it three Months later, I thought something happened to it, so I tried it again and again it took three months to get and i was suppose to receive it within two - three weeks. I hope you get your order quicker then i did.

I ordered a smoker BBQ pit on May 9,2021 and of this date June 13,2021 I haven't received anything yet. I read where they said it would take approximately 20 to 30 days. It is now 35 days and nothing yet.
