About:Shanghai Travel

hi could you help me in planning my intinerary for a 12 day visit in Shanghai ?

i am thinking to visit 3 nearby places,such as Hangzhou,Nanjing,Suzhou.I wish if you can be helpful to me in planning this trip and give me hints how to maximize my time by combining the 3 places i mentioned above , in addition, to Shang hai trip.

There are many bullet trains betwwen any of the mentioned cities. You can totally depend on them for the visit and the order should be SH-Suzhou-Nanjing-Hangzhou-SH, or vice versa.

Suzhou has many classic gardens and you can spend 1-2 days there;
In Nanjing, you can stay 2-3 days to visit the Qinhuai River, Confucius Temple and Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum...
In Hangzhou, you can stay 2-3 days to visit Lingyin Temple, West Lake, or nearby Wuzhen watertown...
For the other days, you can tour around SH for the Bund, Yuyuan Garden, Tianzifang...
