train from guilin to hong kong

Question

We wish to travel from Guilin by rail to catch a flight in Hong Kong that departs at 14.15 pm. Is it possible leave to Guilin on the morning of the flight and get to Hong Kong airport in time? If not, what is the earliest time that we can get to Hong Kong by rail?Mant thanks

The time is not enough. The first rail from Guilin to GZ arrive GZ South at 10:45am. Then you transfer to GZ East for the rail to HK. The transfer would be about 1 hour. The ride to HK (see from time, Z809 is possible) would be about 2 hours. Then from Hung Hom to airport, about 1 hour. Take the time for waiting etc into consideration, you would arrive HK airport around 17pm. You still need to leave at least 2 hours for the the next flight and even more time if for international flights.
