About:Simatai Great Wall

Hello, I'm going to hike from Jinshanling to Simatai West.

Do I have to book in advance tickets to have access to SMT Section? Is it need if I am only to hike for this route? Thanks in advance

Enrique, I am afraid that you may not do this hike now. After the restoration of Simatai section, guards are deployed on the wall to stop people who try to hike between these two sections.
