I was born 21/08/1969, single mother with a 16 year old son, born 25/03/1999.

Whenever my son and I speak to each other, we always end up in an argument. We just seem like we can never see eye to eye. So I suggested he goes and live with his dad temporarily so we can both have a break. Would you think this will help us improve our relationship?

Susanna, It's ok to let him live with his dad. But I don't think this is the best solution for the relationship between you and your kid. As her mom, I think you should try to control your anger and talk to him peacefully. Try to communicate with him equally. Honestly, I don't know if your divorce brings any side-effects to him. If possible, his dad should also do something to help your son grow.
