connecting flight at pvg

Question

I will be arriving at 8:15 at Shanghai pudong international terminal 1 and have connecting flight going to Jeju Korea at 10:15 in the same terminal. Can I directly go to departure check-in for my next flight? Is it on the same area/building.

First of all, I'd tell you that the international to international transfer would be finished in the same building. But which airline do you use for the whole trip? If it is China Eastern Airline, you can just confirm your boarding pass upon arrival and go to the transfer area for immigration and quaratine. It is very easy! If other airlines, I'm afraid you have to pick up your luggages by yourself. The procedure would be more complicated. For more info, consult your airline in advance.
