About:Wuhan Travel

While in Wuhan are there any radio or television broadcasts in English for news or entertainment?

If there are no English language broadcasts, how restricted is the internet for streaming and such? I will be working there over the summer of 2015 and I would like to know if any information or media broadcast is generally provided in languages other than Chinese? I am not being arrogant, just don't speak Chinese. I plan to take a couple of dvd movies to watch on computer and a couple of books to read, but did not know whether any news or other media was available in English. Just curious as I struggle to learn some Chinese. Thank you for any response from someone familiar with the city.

Well, as far as I know, you can find CCTV News Channel on the television. It's in English. There are many latest news for you to listen.
Or you can make full use of the Internet. You can seach the official website of BBC news.
If you really want to listen English Radio, you can download a suitable APP, which can apply on your mobile phone.
